Think Globally, Act Locally

God is the Creator and Redeemer of this globe.
Abraham received God's promise with a global view.
Peter received the Lord's commission with a global view.
When Paul carried out his ministry, he did it in a global way.

We are global persons when it comes to our education / career.
We are global persons when it comes to our reading of daily news.
We are global persons when it comes to our 401(k) portfolio.

Likewise, we should be global when it comes to the matter of the church life. Our capacity is designed by God to be global. The New Testament age is a global age. May the Lord ENLARGE our view according to who He is and what He will do. Amen.

P.S.
1. Jehovah called Abraham out of his background and culture and transferred him to the good land. All nations will be blessed through Abraham. (Genesis 12:1-3)
2. The Lord's charge to the disciples in Matthew 28:19 is concerning all the nations. Acts 1:8 covers the entire earth. This is a blessed global commission.
3. Paul's ministry covers the whole world (Romans 1:8). He intended to go to Spain, thinking that it is the uttermost part of the earth. (Romans 15:23-24)
4. Eventually, the entire globe will be the kingdom of our Lord. (Revelation 11:15)
