Divine Glue

Every positive thing is just a shadow. Only Christ is the reality--
Food is a shadow - Christ is our real sustaining supply. The sun is a shadow - Christ is our real light. My house is a shadow - Christ is my real dwelling. Human intelligence is a shadow - Christ is the real wisdom. Human love is a shadow - God is love, real love. Likewise, glue is the same - Christ is the real sticky glue. Please read the following verses:

But the One who firmly attaches us with you unto Christ is God.
(1 Corinthians 1:21)
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? (Romans 8:35)

This divine glue is God in Christ as the Spirit coming into us as the attaching factor between us and God and among the saints. May the Lord “stick” us together to form His habitation (Col. 3:12-15). Amen.

By the way, “human glue” (signified by honey in Leviticus 2:11) is not acceptable in the Body of Christ. Here is Leviticus 2:11-

No meal offering that you present to Jehovah shall be made with leaven, for you shall not burn any leaven or any honey as an offering by fire to JehovahLeaven signifies sin. Honey signifies natural affection. Both leaven and honey ferment the lump (Galatians 5:9). Therefore, they are not allowed in the meal offering. This means that the church life should be pure without any mixtures.

If we want to serve the Lord in a pure way, we have to look to the Lord to purify us from leaven and honey. No matter how well certain saints may treat us, and no matter how close we are or how long we have been together, we should not develop natural friendship in the church life. Rather, we should regard all the saints in the same way – as brothers and sisters in Christ.

May the Lord preserve us and make us a new lump (1 Cor. 5:7).
